Thank you for an amazing day!!

We would like to take the time to thank all parties involved in making our wedding day the most memorable and perfect day of our lives. So many of our guests have commented on how stunning the location and venues were, how moving the vowels were, how fantastic the food and music was so we just couldn’t let this opportunity pass without saying a big thank you to you all.

It is so true when they say the day just flies by, but to us this meant that everything just ran so smoothly; largely due to the efforts of those we chose to help organise and provide various services for us and our guests. We really could not have been happier with how it all turned out and we would like to recognise the contributions of all of you in your professional capacities and for your personnel touches throughout the day.

Thank you to:

Vanessa and the I Do Events team – The main reason we chose Airlie Beach as our wedding designation is due to Vanessa. She was so patient, diligent, knowledgeable and thoughtful during the initial planning stages and continued this all the way through to our wedding day. Her organisation and coordination made our day so seamless and made our dream a reality. It is in no small part thanks to her that our day was perfect and our guests had a brilliant time.

Helen and the Total Weddings team – The Whitsunday Balinese Pavilion was a spectacular location and we would definitely recommend this venue to all who want a beach theme wedding. Helen coordinated the ceremony and made sure it ran smoothly and the music was just right. Helen also coordinated with the Yacht Club to ensure our guests were refreshed with a light beverage and made the location decor look amazing.

Jan Harvey – Celebrant – When we first met Jan we knew she would be exceptional as our wedding celebrant. She was a great calming influence, very organised and very creative. We wanted our wedding ceremony to be unique and her ideas complemented ours perfectly resulting in a most memorable ceremony for us and our guests.

De Ja Vu Restaurant – wow what a stunning reception location! We were so happy with the whole reception set up. The decor and lighting around the pool was beautiful and the food was so tasty and plentiful. We received many comments from our guests letting us know how exceptional the food was. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Sarah and Patrice and we couldn’t have been happier with both the service and the catering provided at our ceremony and next day pool BBQ.

LA Entertainment – (called in late to cover for a previously arranged unreliable DJ) -Luke was so easy to deal with and most importantly for us at this late stage he was organised and reliable. We had every confidence he would deliver after only our first phone call. Our music requirements were specific and Luke hand picked exactly the right people from his stable of employees to make our wedding so special. The reception music was perfect, the after party was spot on and the solo artist at our next day BBQ was ridiculously good and was the talk of the day.

Whitsunday Photography – Anna Maree’s friendly and relaxed personality made the photo sessions less daunting and we were able to have some fun. She was so personable and worked well with all our guests. As with all weddings I’m sure things don’t always roll along on schedule and we really appreciated her going above and beyond with her flexible attitude enabling us to adjust on the move so we could capture all the things important to us on the day.

Whitsunday Wedding Hair Lounge- Louisa and Rachelle were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, accommodating and very professional from the first contact I had with them. It felt like a big risk to ask a hairdresser and make up artist to give you the look you wanted on the day without a trial (I live in brisbane) but these ladies exceeded my expectations and more! With only a few pictures chosen from a magazine to assist them in the style we were looking for, (and believe me they weren’t easy) they got working on it in seconds and made all the bridesmaids and especially the bride feel like a million dollars. They were also very particular and made sure that we didn’t leave the room with anything out of place and this is the sort of attention a bride appreciates on her big day. Louisa and Rachelle had one of the most important jobs on the day and I was so glad I made Whitsunday Wedding Lounge my choice of business.

Flower Hut – Janelle was very friendly and professional. She took the time to communicate with me over email and via phone as it was never too much trouble for her. Janelle gave very honest advice about choosing the right flowers for the bouquet and she accommodated for my budget. When the bouquets arrived on the day I was surprised to see the fullness of the bouquets with the price I paid as I expected them to be a little smaller. they were beautiful and just as I imagined. Janelle and her team did an exceptional job.

Spa Allure- I would like to say a special thank you to John and his team at Spa Allure for being so accommodating when I needed to make a last minute booking. I was concerned about getting a fake tan because of not being able to have a trial with their chosen product but because of their professionalism I walked out with a beautiful shimmer which was exactly what I was after. We also had a massage and a manicure which we were very pleased with also. I would highly recommend Spa Allure not for only their professionalism but also because of their friendly staff, reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere.
I also received a lovely shell lip balm gift on my way out which was a lovely gesture.

We have the most wonderful memories from our wedding. Airlie Beach exceeded our high expectations as a wedding destination and we don’t hesitate to highly recommend you and your services to anyone thinking of getting married in the gorgeous Airlie Beach. We thank you so much again for all you did to make our day such a success and we wish you all the best in your future business endeavours.
